Seasons Change

Just as the weather changes from fall into winter; so do the activities of the CCAA.
There was a delightful chilli or soup evening membership meeting. It was held to permit our day-time workers to attend. We need to do this again.
The gallery will not be open on wednesdays. Copper tooling will be the next 1st Friday activity. In December it will be small basket construction.

As the Keweenaw woodlands explode in glowing color … then fade to seed the Spring, the color is captured by the Artist members of the Copper Country Associated Artist (CCAA) in paint, fiber, glass, clay, wood and other media specialties for the Keweenaw Color Show in their Studio/Gallery at 112 5th St in Calumet, MI. running from October 15 to October 30, 2010.

Classes Offered

Recently held was a Stained Glass class conducted by Sydney Butler, Member and Glass Artist.

The CCAA Gallery is located at 112 Fifth Street in Calumet. Gallery winter hours are Thursday– Saturday 11 am to 4 pm. First Fridays, the Gallery is open from 11 am to 9 pm. For more information about the CCAA call 906-337-1252 or visit our web site at ccaartists.org.
